Spain is home to some of Europe’s most thrilling and fun amusement parks. They are located all over this beautiful country. Below is a list of some of the greatest cities in Spain, which house some of the best amusement parks in the country. The best time to visit any of these parks is probably during summer and fall, although in the south of Spain the sun seems to be shining year round. So, grab your family and head for some of the best fun and thrilling rides in Europe.

Isla Mágica (Magic Island)
: This magical theme park is located in Seville is perfect for the whole family. From a 16th century, 2-story carousal to a 68-meter free fall, Isla Mágica has offers fun and risk all in one park. When visiting Seville this park is a must-see. Not only will it be fun for every member of your family, but it also offers great Spanish food, art galleries, and year around events. The park is huge and filled with the flavor of Spain, from daily shows to amazing shops. So, you may need more than just one day to see it all but it is great in any quantity. Isla Mágica is a great way to enjoy the fun and sun of Seville!

Parque de Atracciones—Madrid: Madrid is one of the most visited cities in the world. It is truly a mezcla (mixture) of Spanish flavors and as Spain’s capital; Madrid is representative of all of Spain’s different regions and cultures. Parque De Attracciones is just the same. It is located in this beautiful and culturally diverse city. Inside the park, take a walk down the Grand Avenue to the Virtual Cinemas or in the evening watch the Spectacle of Light and Sound. There is also a whole zone of the park dedicated to younger children (Infantíl), which will keep your little ones entertained for hours with over 20 different rides to choose from. If you are looking for thrill rides head toward the zone of the park called El Maquinismo, which is filled with loads of high-speed rides and exciting drops. The park is also filled with traditional fair-like rides, and 4D cinema, and loads of great Spanish food. You won’t be able to get through this massive park in just one day but if one day is all you have in Madrid, expect loads of fun and tired kids by the end of it!

Porta Aventura
: Barcelona is home to one of the most exciting theme parks in all of Spain. Porta Aventura is in one of the most exciting cities on earth. The park takes you around the world, from the brilliance of China to the wild wild West. The rides of this park provide something for everyone. There are big time thrill rides that travel at high speeds and have massive drops and small canoes that will help little ones get their feet wet. Barcelona provides the perfect weather for amusement park fun almost all year around. But Barcelona can get pretty hot during late July and August. But you can cool down at the sister park called Caribe Aquatic Park. This park is filled with loads of rushing waters, amazing water rides, and places to just sit back, relax and enjoy the sun. It is a virtual Caribbean getaway.
